Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2025
These Terms of Service govern your use of Vision Code and all associated tools. By using Vision Code, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before using the service.
01
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Vision Code, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
02
Description of Service
Vision Code provides tools that convert visual inputs — including screenshots, wireframes, and mockups — into structured HTML, along with supporting tools including AI-based auditing, visual page linking, and animation. The service is provided "as is" and may change at any time without notice. Features may be added, modified, or removed.
03
Permitted Use by Tier
Your permitted use of Vision Code depends on your subscription tier:
04
User Responsibilities
By using Vision Code, you agree to:
- Use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with your tier's permitted use
- Review and validate all generated output before use in any environment
- Ensure that any uploaded content does not violate intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
- Keep your API key secure — you are solely responsible for any usage or charges incurred through it
- Not misrepresent your tier or use the free tier for commercial purposes
You are solely responsible for any code, content, or websites created using Vision Code.
05
Generated Output
Vision Code generates code based on user-provided inputs using AI models. Output is generated by AI systems and may vary in quality, accuracy, and consistency. Vision Code does not control or guarantee the behavior of underlying AI systems used in the generation process.
We do not guarantee that generated output will be:
- Correct or error-free
- Complete or production-ready
- Compliant with all web standards or accessibility guidelines
- Suitable for any specific use case
06
Bring Your Own API Key (BYOK)
If you use your own API key with Vision Code:
- You are fully responsible for its security and usage
- Vision Code does not store, access, or transmit your API key through our servers
- All API requests are made directly between your device and the third-party provider
- You are responsible for any charges, rate limits, or terms violations incurred through your key
07
Public Gallery
Free tier users' generated outputs are published to the Vision Code public gallery by default. By allowing your output to be published:
- You grant Vision Code a non-exclusive license to display the output in the gallery
- Other users may view, clone, and remix your output
- You confirm you have the right to publish the content
- You retain full ownership of your output
You may opt out of gallery publication on every export. Pro and Team users have private exports by default. We reserve the right to remove any gallery content that violates these terms or community standards.
08
Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of any content you upload and any output generated from it. Vision Code does not claim ownership of generated output.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use any input — including images, designs, screenshots, or other content — uploaded to the service. Do not upload content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
09
Prohibited Use
You may not use Vision Code to:
- Generate or distribute unlawful, harmful, or offensive content
- Violate intellectual property or privacy rights of others
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or compromise the service
- Use the free tier for commercial purposes
- Circumvent usage limits or access controls
- Upload content containing malicious code or security exploits
- Use the service in any way that could harm Studio Etos or other users
10
Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use Vision Code. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or guardian to use the service. We do not knowingly allow access to users under 13.
11
Limitation of Liability
Vision Code is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Studio Etos is not liable for:
- Errors, inaccuracies, or bugs in generated code
- Damages resulting from use or inability to use the service
- Loss of data, revenue, or business interruption
- Actions taken based on AI-generated output
- Third-party API costs or issues
12
